Steps of the Vocational Training Program
Registration for German & vocational training program
Opening of a blocked account
To obtain the visa, it is necessary to open a blocked bank account. It is possible to open this account with different providers such as Fintiba or Expatrio. Before requesting the visa, you have to deposit €992 into this account for each month your German course will last. This money is supposed to secure the daily life in Germany. It will be possible to withdraw €992 monthly. Depending on your country of origin, you might not need a blocked bank account but only a bank statement. Please clarify with your local German embassy.
Visa process
With the required documents mentioned above and the visa form, you need to request an appointment at the embassy of Germany. It is important to apply for a residence permit for the purpose of ’basic and advanced industrial training’ (Aufenthaltserlaubnis zum Zweck der betrieblichen Aus- und Weiterbildung). If you request a different visa, you will have to return to your home country before you can start the vocational training.
